Engraved title page (n.d.) with architectural design featuring the twelve tribes on the left and the twelve disciples on the right with the four gospel symbols at the center. A full-page engraving featuring Adam and Eve in the Garden before Genesis. Apocrypha included as issued. New Testament title page (1611) with head- and tailpiece. Ends on the dated colophon (1612). Bound with the Whole Booke of Psalms (1609). Complete set of Geneva illustrations and maps. Historiated first chapter initials and decorated head- and tailpieces throughout.

Professionally rebound in Cambridge style tow-toned paneled calf. Boards with arabesque centerpiece design surround by blind-rolled concentric frames with corner fleurons. Spine with five raised bands, blind tooling to compartments and a red morocco label with the words “Holy Bible” and “1611” lettered in gilt. Plain endpapers.
Condition
Book of Common Prayer with title page laid down; some ink bleeding through on general title page; first few leaves of BCP and final few leaves of Psalter stained and frayed. A clean and crisp copy with infrequent spotting.
