Rebound in brown blind paneled calf. Covers elaborated decorated with blind tools and rolls. Spine with four raised bands, compartments decorated in blind, and a green morocco label with the words “Holy Bible” lettered in gilt, the date to spine. Marbled endpapers. Inner dentelles. All edges speckled red.
Condition
Occasional spotting and staining; A1 (Genesis 1) closed tear to text without loss; about twenty leaves with lower corner loss (Bb, Dd, Ff, first few leaves of NT), reducing a few letters of sidenotes; Ddd1 (Apocrypha) large tear with text loss; Kkk3 loss to sidenotes with repaired closed tear; Kkk4 lower corner repair; trimmed.
