Complete set of woodcut illustrations and maps. Woodcut architectural title featuring Lady Justice and Mercy before Psalms. Includes Apocrypha as issued. New Testament with Tomson’s revision and title page (1591) with design like general title. Woodcut first chapter initials, head- and tailpieces throughout.

Rebound in brown morocco. Spine with five blind-lined raised bands and the words “Bible” “Breeches Bible” and “Pre 1700” in gilt. Plain endpapers.
Condition
Prelims soiled with loss of a words and repairs; A1 repaired to fore-edge costing a few letters of text with missing text and sidenotes in manuscript; F6,Xxx4-6 marginal repair; final leaf of Apocrypha and NT title page guarded; final leaf of Revelation strengthened to edges; browning and soiling; occasional marginal damp stains; trimmed, only touching upper border or sidenotes on a handful of occasions.
