General title page (1607) with four gospel symbols surrounded by the tents of the Twelve Tribes on the left and the twelve Disciples on the right. Text in two column Roman type. Complete set of woodcut illustrations and maps. Includes Apocrypha as issued. Printed New Testament title page (1607) with head- and tailpiece. Concludes with the Two Tables ending on dated colophon (1607). Woodcut first chapter initials, head- and tailpieces throughout.

Binding
Rebound in brown polished half-calf with cloth over boards. Spine with five raised blind-lined bands and a black gilt-lined morocco label with the words “The Bible” and “1607” in gilt. Endpapers renewed.

Title page soiled, trimmed, and laid down with minor upper corner loss; two preliminary leaves strengthened with repaired closed tears and loss; A1 with repaired closed tear and loss of text; A3,4 frayed to edges; Y2 short closed marginal tear; Aa6, Oooo3 closed tear into text; Bb3, Pp5 lower marginal loss; Oo6 with closed tear into text and lower corner repair with loss to a few words of text; Qq1,Rr6, Ttt4,Oooo4,5 lower corner torn away with loss of text; Ss,Tt with lower corner repair and text loss; Xxx6,7 loss to fore-edge reducing words in outer column; intermittent soiling and staining.
