Brown morocco. Spine with black gilt-lined label and the words “Bishops’ New Testament 1617” in gilt. Endpapers renewed.
Condition
B4,P1,P4 a few sidenotes in facsimile; Dd1 repaired closed tear; expected soiling and occasional staining; cropped to fore-edge infrequently reducing a letter of sidenotes; a good copy of a scarce New Testament.
Scarcity
USTC and ESTC record only two institutional copies, both imperfect; no copies have ever appeared at auction per RBH.
