Binding
Contemporary black morocco. Covers triple paneled in gilt with corner fleurons, and two gilt-filled center circles with triprle diagonal lines. Enhanced in blind with tendrils, flowers, and sprays. Spine with five raised bands and elaborate gilt tooling to compartments. Marbled and gilded endpapers. Inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Upper joint starting to loosen.
Condition
Clean and bright throughout. General title page ruled in red, laid down and with lower loss and upper corner loss, but expertly supplied in manuscript.
