Begins with The Book of Common Prayer with printed title page (1670). General title page with architectural border and Cambridge Alma Mater (1673). Text ruled in red throughout in a two column Roman font. With Apocrypha as issued. Printed New Testament title page (1673.) Bound with The Whole Book of Psalms with printed title page (1673). First chapter woodcut initials.

Collation 

A^2, A-Z^8, Aa-Zz^8, Aaa-Ooo^8, Ppp^4, a-o^8, p^4, A-S^8, T^4. Complete with title pages.

Binding 

Rebound brown crushed morocco with original spine laid down. Gilt paneled border with corner fleurons. Spine with five raised bands and gilt tooling to compartments. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Corners repaired.

Condition

Light soiling and standing, but clean and bright overall with good margins throughout. First leaf of BCP strengthened to edges. 

Provenance

Several seventeenth century family history records to front endpaper of the Crowther and Powell families.
