Description
Engraved architectural title page (1702) with frontispiece portrait of Queen Anne. Followed by the second printed title page, both ruled in red. Text in two column Roman font and ruled in red throughout. Each book begins with an engraved historiated initial. Over 150 large copper-engraved plates with 65 in the Old Testament and 98 in the New Testament. Apocrypha included as issued. Printed New Testament title page. Ends with Index. Bound with The Whole Book of Psalms with printed title page (1702).

A^2, A-Z^8, Aa-Zz^8, Aaa-Zzz^8, Aaaa-Iiii^8, Kkkk^4, [Kkkk]^2. Complete with both title pages.
Binding
Brown blind stamped paneled calf. Rebacked with five raised bands and two gilt-lined red morocco labels and the words “Holy Bible” and “1702”. Marbled endpapers. All edges red. Corners bumped.
Condition
Pages crisp, clean, and bright; final leaf of Psalter repaired to upper margin; cropped, occasionally reducing catchword or headline. A lovely Bible with many engravings to enjoy.
