Description
The whole ruled in red throughout. Printed title page to the Book of Common Prayer (1742). Bound with 53 full-page engraved plates by John Sturt with Biblical scenes, saints, and monarchs. Text in two column Roman font. Bound with The Whole Book of Psalms (1741) with printed title page.

a^4, A-Z^8, Aa-Bb^8, Cc^4 (BCP); A-G^8, H^10. Complete.
Binding
Retaining rear board with elaborate cottage roof design in gilt. Spine and front board in red morocco. Spin with five raised bands and gilt tooling to compartments. Rear marbled endpapers, front endpapers blank and renewed. Inner dentelles to rear board.
Condition
The infrequent stain here and there, but overall clean and bright throughout. First engraved plate laid down.
