General title page (1608) with woodcut border comprising twenty-four small compartments showing the tents of the twelve tribes as well as the figures of the twelve apostles. Title is enclosed within a heart-shaped frame. Text in two column Roman font with the complete set of Geneva illustrations and maps. Printed title page to the Second Part before Psalms. With Apocrypha as issued. New Testament title page (1609) with similar woodcut border. This copy contains a misprint at John 6:67 where it reads “Judas” instead of “Jesus.” Ends on colophon (1609). With The Booke of Psalmes (1608) by Sternhold and Hopkins. First chapter woodcut initials, head- and tailpieces throughout.

Black polished rebacked calf over wooden boards. Spine with five blind-lined raised bands and blind tooling to compartments. The words “Bible” lettered in gilt. Covers with central circular stamps surrounded by concentric blind frames. Marbled endpapers. All edges red.
Condition
O-P with small circular stain to outer column; An exceptionally bright, clean, and crisp copy, in a binding that is suitable for daily use, and with a collectible misprint.
