Note

A magnificent two-volume full-color facsimile of the Gutenberg Bible, faithfully reproducing one of the most celebrated monuments of early printing. This 1985 edition captures the texture, rubrication, and illumination of the original 15th-century exemplar with remarkable precision. Printed on specially produced paper to emulate the look and feel of the incunable leaves, the set reflects the grandeur and craftsmanship of the first substantial book printed with movable type.

An impressive and scholarly production, offering the visual and tactile experience of the Gutenberg Bible at a fraction of the cost of an original.
